Weekly horoscope: What's ahead for your zodiac sign in life and love this Aug. 31-Sept. 6

September is beginning, and it's bringing a serious opportunity for growth.

According to professional astrologer Monica Morales, Jupiter in Leo trines Saturn retrograde in Aries on Sept. 1, which opens room for progress. On the same day, Mars in Cancer squares Saturn retrograde, revealing "slow progress" for an earlier decision, existing responsibility, or an unresolved issue.

It doesn't end there, as Mercury in Virgo sextiles Mars later in the day, "helping clarify what can be adjusted, negotiated, or done next."

"After last week’s Pisces Lunar Eclipse changed the story we thought was unfolding, this week shows whether what now seems possible can work under real-life conditions," Morales said.

Wondering how the end of August and the dawn of a new month look for you? Read on to see Morales' forecast for Aug. 31-Sept. 6 for each zodiac sign. For a complete picture, make sure to read your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs. "Your Sun reflects your core identity and the week’s central themes, your Moon speaks to your emotional world, while your Rising sign can offer clues to where these developments may show up most visibly in everyday life," she said.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

A romance, creative project, or plan involving children is becoming harder to treat casually. You may be ready to give it more, just as family demands or a private responsibility return to compete for your attention. The answer is not to abandon what excites you. Clear the calendar, redistribute the work at home, and find out whether this new possibility can survive contact with your real life.

In love, connections can deepen, but where will it actually fit? If both of you want this, the conversation needs to move beyond feelings and into plans.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

A home, family, or property matter is moving again, but it is bringing unfinished business with it. A conversation you hoped to avoid may finally expose what has been quietly influencing the situation all along. What you hear could be uncomfortable, but it may also free you from planning around a problem nobody wanted to acknowledge.

An old romantic subject can return with a different meaning. Do not assume it is the same story simply because you recognize the characters.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Your idea is finding an audience. A proposal, introduction, or useful connection can bring a larger goal within reach, but the excitement changes once money and responsibility enter the room. Someone’s contribution may be smaller than advertised, or the arrangement may ask more from you than expected. A conversation about household expenses, family priorities, or living arrangements can clarify what you can realistically contribute. Clarify the numbers before the momentum decides for you.

When it comes to relationships, talking about the future is easy. Talking about priorities, time, and money will reveal whether you are imagining the same one.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

The offer, promotion, or financial possibility looks promising. Then you see the workload. A career matter may hold better potential now, but an earlier decision or existing responsibility still needs another look. Ask what has actually changed. Better compensation means little if the role still depends on you absorbing every missing responsibility.

Career pressure can make you retreat in relationships without explaining why. Give the other person facts before they create their own version of the story.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

A bigger life is calling your attention again. Travel, education, publishing, or a bold personal move can become possible, but something behind the scenes is slowing your hand. It could be exhaustion, money, paperwork, or an old plan that no longer matches who you are. Find the hidden cost before making the public announcement.

Your direction is changing, and your relationship may need to change with it. Make room for an honest response instead of presenting a finished decision.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

You have been watching, listening, and keeping more to yourself than people realize. That restraint has been useful, but a matter involving trust, intimacy, shared money, or unequal responsibility now needs an answer. Friends or collaborators may complicate the issue further. Ask the question everyone has been carefully avoiding. The response will tell you who belongs in the next stage of the plan.

In love, private feelings can become more serious, but secrecy and intimacy are not the same thing. Find out what the other person is prepared to share and carry.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

A partnership can take you somewhere important, but the agreement was written for an earlier version of the plan. Career demands have changed, and the division of work may now be quietly favoring one side. Do not wait until resentment negotiates for you. Decide which terms need to be rewritten, then enter the conversation with a clear position.

In love, the relationship may continue, but not on assumptions. If the future is still mutual, it should survive a direct conversation about what each person expects.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

The career opportunity is real. So is the possibility of burning yourself out trying to accommodate it. A larger role, public project, or professional opening can succeed, but your current system cannot carry much more. Travel, education, publishing, or legal concerns add another layer. A conversation with a colleague, adviser, or professional connection may reveal where the plan can be reorganized. Change the structure before the opportunity turns into another obligation you resent.

Distance, schedules, or competing responsibilities can create tension in love. Solve the practical issue before deciding what it supposedly says about the relationship.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

The vision gets your attention immediately. The financial conditions may not. Travel, education, or publishing may support a romance, creative project, or decision involving children, but an existing commitment in one of these areas may need to be reconsidered. Shared money, debt, trust, or an old obligation is also attached to the decision. Ask for the complete figures and clarify what everyone is contributing. Enthusiasm should open the conversation, not close the deal.

Attraction can intensify quickly. What happens when trust, money, or commitment enters the discussion will tell you far more.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

The arrangement looks secure until home and family enter the calculation. Financing, an investment, or a deeper commitment may be workable, but an old property, living, or family issue can change the terms. Someone may push for an answer while you are still studying the consequences. Let them wait long enough for you to read what you are signing.

A relationship can move forward, but the practical implications matter. Commitment becomes real when both people discuss where and how they intend to live it.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

A relationship or collaboration is approaching the point where vague promises become actual obligations. That is where the weak spots appear. Workload, health, or scheduling pressure may expose a responsibility nobody formally accepted. Put time, money, availability, and expectations on the table now. The conversation may be awkward, but the arrangement will be stronger for it.

In relationships, interest is clear. Availability may be the real question. Watch whether effort becomes more consistent once expectations are spoken aloud.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

A better work arrangement, healthier routine, or financial improvement is possible, but romance, creativity, or a concern involving children may be competing for the same time and resources. The conflict can reopen an old question about how much you are willing to sacrifice to keep someone else happy. Do not volunteer the compromise before hearing what the other person is prepared to do.

Feelings can be sincere, while the arrangement remains difficult in love. Consistency and shared effort will show you what the connection can realistically become.
