SB19 to hold 'Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale' in April 2026
SB19 just gave fans something big to look forward to in 2026!
On their social media pages, the P-Pop boy group unveiled a teaser saying, "Sumibol, tumatag, nagsimula, at ngayon ay magwawakas."
The video ended with the reveal that "Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale" is slated for April 18, 2026.
While it's not yet known whether this would be a concert, the title appears to be referencing SB19's recently concluded "Simula at Wakas World Tour." The group had their last show in Perth, Australia on Dec. 14.
However, in a social media post, SB19 teased that they are "excited for what the next chapter holds" as they expressed their gratitude to their fans in Perth.
"From the moment this tour began to this final stop, you stayed with us every step of the way. Performing in Perth reminded us that this journey is not just ours, it's ours together. We hope you enjoyed the special performances we prepared the same way we enjoyed them too," they wrote.
"We’re closing this chapter in Perth, but don’t blink. What comes next is closer than you think," they added.
In an interview with Billboard, the group—composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—said that they have been preparing "unlimited surprises" for their fans that include "new genres and performances, plus fresh arrangements of our older tracks."
"After a long break as a group, our main focus is now on the new EP, and we can’t wait to reconnect with our fans—especially in places we haven’t visited before. We’re really excited to meet everyone there," Stell said.
Pablo added, "We are pushing the boundaries and we want the best for all of the fans. We think from our last tour they have seen more of our individuality but this time, we will be coming stronger."
Simula at Wakas serves as the third extended play of SB19 after Pagsibol in 2021 and Pagtatag! in 2023.
The group debuted in 2018 with their first single Tilaluha and has since become a renowned P-pop sensation, becoming the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated in Billboard Music Awards for Top Social Artist. It marked the first-ever appearance of a Filipino artist in the award show.
