If you’re craving an escape that doesn’t involve a crowded resort, consider your summer plans sorted: Masungi Georeserve is reopening its gates after dark.

Moonlit Symphonies is back, blending live acoustic sets with the natural "playlist" of the forest. It’s a full evening of hiking, music, and a dinner spread under the night sky—perfect for those who want a nature fix without the midday sun.

Set under the theme “Songs of Change and Becoming,” the event is scheduled on April 25 and May 1, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with more dates expected to be announced.

The program is designed as a two-part musical experience. It begins at a viewpoint overlooking the city, where guests will listen to a live performance by a trio of string and wind instruments.

The evening then transitions deeper into the forest, where a second, more intimate set unfolds, incorporating the natural sounds of the surroundings.

Organizers describe the event as a “listening experience” that integrates music with the landscape, rather than a traditional staged concert.

A light Filipino dinner will be served during the event at a communal table, with drinks such as juice, tea, and coffee included. Wine will be available separately.

This experience is priced at P4,600 per guest, inclusive of the performances and meal. If you're coming as a group of four or more, the rate drops to P4,300 per person. Those interested may register here.

Registration is subject to approval, and a confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours, excluding Mondays. The deadline for sign-up is four days before the preferred date. Make sure to fill out the necessary details as incomplete submissions will not be processed.

For those unable to secure slots, a waitlist for future schedules is available here.

You’re not just treating yourself to a night away. Every ticket helps fund Masungi’s reforestation and conservation work, so you're literally helping the forest grow while you enjoy.
