Don't miss out: Voter registration ends May 18
Youth and first-time voters, are you ready to make your mark?
If you haven't registered yet, you can still catch the voter registration for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections 2026 until its last day on Monday, May 18.
According to the Commission on Elections, their offices are open every Tuesday to Saturday, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Any Filipino citizen who is not yet a registered voter may apply for registration, provided they are at least 18 years of age on or before election day. Applicants must have resided in the Philippines for at least one year and in their chosen voting precinct for at least six months immediately preceding the elections. Additionally, the applicant must not be otherwise disqualified by law.
To register, applicants must present a valid government-issued ID. Accepted documents include the National ID (PhilID), Postal ID, PWD ID, Student ID or library card (signed by school authorities), Senior Citizen’s ID, Driver’s License or Student Permit, NBI Clearance, Philippine Passport, SSS/GSIS or UMPID, IBP ID, PRC License, NCIP Certificate of Confirmation, or a Barangay Certificate with a photo.
