Sept. 22-Oct. 4: Ube Craze 2026 

Calling all dessert lovers and purple yam fans! SM North EDSA is painting Quezon City purple as The Block Atrium turns into the ultimate ube destination for its first-ever Ube Craze festival! 

Running through Oct. 4 as part of SM Supermalls' month-long Food Fest, the 17-day celebration gathers 20 popular food and beverage brands serving up creative ube treats—from pastries and cakes to ice creams, specialty drinks, and more.  

Expect festival-exclusive creations from participating brands including Bibingka Manila, Chatramue, Cold Stone, Famous Belgian Waffles, Fickle Cookies, Karabella Dairy, Khun Thai Tea, Macarons Macarons, Matchanese, Milksha, Mom’s Ube & Triple Chocolate Champorado, Muhlach Ensaymada, Panero, Pocofino, Polland Hopia, Project Pop Shake, Quickly, Red Ribbon, and Yogorino.

The event is open to everyone with free admission at The Block Atrium in SM North EDSA, Quezon City.  

Sept. 23-Oct. 4: Puregold CinePanalo 2026 Screening 

Fresh, inspiring stories from Filipino directors and student filmmakers are taking center stage on the big screen! 

The Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival officially opened yesterday, Sept. 23, and runs through Oct. 4 across select cinemas in the metro. This year’s lineup features seven full-length feature films: Apol of My Ai (dir. Thop Nazareno), Beast (dir. Lawrence Fajardo), Mono No Aware (dir. BC Amparado), Multwoh (Patay na Patay Sa'yo) (dir. Rodina Singh), Patay Gutom (dir. Carl Joseph Papa & Ian Pangilinan), Stuck on You (dir. Mikko Baldoza), and Wantawsan (dir. Joseph Abello), alongside 19 student short films and a Panorama Shorts section. 

Screenings are ongoing at Gateway Cineplex 18, TriNoma, Fairview Terraces, Ayala Malls Feliz, Ayala Malls Circuit, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Market! Market! Regular tickets are P250, while discounted rates of P200 are available for PWDs, senior citizens, students, national athletes, and Puregold Perks & Aling Puring cardholders. 

Full-festival passes are available for P2,000 exclusively at physical counters in Gateway Cineplex 18 and TriNoma. Online ticketing is available via Ayala All Access and TicketNet. 

Sept. 24-27: World Pet Expo 2026 

Calling all fur parents and animal lovers, the country's premier gathering for pet owners is happening at the World Trade Center. It is four days packed with activities, pet care displays, and interactive showcases! 

At the event, visitors can check out hundreds of pet brands offering exclusive hundreds of pet brands, event deals, product launches, veterinary seminars and talks, live demonstrations and competitions. The multi-pet showcase welcomes owners and lovers of dogs, cats, aquatics, birds, small animals, and exotic pets, featuring dedicated activity areas, meet-and-greets, adoption drives, and advocacy booths hosted by partner welfare groups.

Planning to bring your pets along? Make sure to bring a physical or digital copy of your pet's updated vaccination record as strictly no vaccination record, no entry. Pet owners must also complete the online Pet Waiver Form prior to entering the venue.

The expo runs daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City. Regular admission is P100 per visitor, with 20% off for PWDs and senior citizens, while children aged 1 year old and below get free admission. 

Sept. 22-27: The Negros Trade Fair: Butlak 

The long-running celebration of Visayan craftsmanship is celebrating a major milestone this year! 

Marking its 40th anniversary under the theme "Bútlak"—meaning "first light" and "bloom"—the 40th Negros Trade Fair brings independent artisans, weavers, and regional food producers from Negros Island straight to Taguig.

If you wanna get a head start on your Christmas shopping, browse racks of handwoven textiles, natural home decor, and sustainable fashion accessories, or grab regional delicacies like piaya, chicken inasal marinades, and artisanal pastries at local stalls.  

Shoppers can also take part in daily prize raffles throughout the event! Don't forget to bring your own eco bags or reusable totes for your purchases, as shopping carts won't be provided at the venue.

The fair runs daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. until Sept. 27 at the SMX Convention Center Aura, SM Aura Premier, BGC, Taguig City. Entrance tickets are P50 per person, available at the door in cash.

Sept. 25-26: Catriona Gray's clothing sale

Want to own a preloved piece from Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray? The beauty queen and host is holding a closet sale from Sept. 25 to 26. Some of the items you can expect are Gray’s preloved pieces, as well as brand-new, tagged clothing, bags, and shoes.

Sept. 25-Oct. 7: Moonlit Reverie: A Mid-Autumn Celebration at Lucky Chinatown

Sept. 26-27: Spectrum Birthday Fair

September 25-27: My Manila Tourism Expo 2026 

Looking to rediscover Manila? Organized by the City Government of Manila through the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila, the first-ever My Manila Tourism Expo 2026 brings together the city's food, culture, heritage, hospitality, and local businesses under one roof! The three-day showcase also marks the official launch of the city's new tourism campaign, "Manila, My Manila." 

Visitors can look forward to a full celebration of the capital featuring culinary experiences, attractions, heritage destinations, and locally made products.

Day 1 kicks off on Friday, Sept. 25, featuring the Midfest Regional Showcase, a Stakeholders' Seminar, a Midfest Mini Concert, a Barangay Tourism Officer Seminar for Districts 3 and 5, and an FDCP film screening.  

Saturday, Sept. 26, brings morning seminars for Barangay Tourism Officers of Districts 1, 2, 4, and 6, followed by an afternoon Manila City Library Puppet Show, a performance by the Santa Isabel College Manila Chorale, an International Midfest Mini Concert, an FDCP film showing, and the International Midfest Gala Concert in the evening.  

Then on Sunday, Sept. 27 is packed with FDCP film screenings, a Midfest Workshop and Show, a performance by the Manila City Band, the My Manila Tourism Expo Awarding Ceremony, the Midfest Gala Show, the MIDAS Awards, and the Midfest Closing Ceremonies. 

The expo runs from Friday to Sunday, Sept. 25 to 27, at Foro de Intramuros, Calle Arzobispo, Intramuros, Manila. The event is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
