May 6-31: OMOCHA: Japanese Toys Today
Step into the playful world of Japanese toys at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila’s “OMOCHA: Japanese Toys Today” exhibit. The exhibition explores the evolution of Japanese toys from traditional playthings during the Edo period to modern creations powered by technology and innovation. Mounted in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Philippines-Japan Friendship, the showcase highlights how toys have become tools for learning, creativity, and connection across generations.
The event will take place until May 31 at the 2F North Gallery, Metropolitan Museum of Manila. Admission is free.
May 23-24: KPOP x Anime Fest
Fans of Korean pop culture and anime can dive into a weekend of performances, merchandise, and community fun at KPOP x Anime Fest in LYF Malate Manila. The event brings together guest appearances, live acts, and themed activities designed for both casual fans and dedicated collectors. With limited tickets available, attendees can expect an energetic celebration of two of today’s biggest fandom cultures.
The convention will happen at LYF in Malate, Manila. Tickets costs P250-P1,000 depending on the pass. They are available through the official event website.
May 21-23: IFEX Philippines
Food enthusiasts and industry professionals can experience the best of Filipino flavors at IFEX Philippines at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The country’s largest international food trade show gathers acclaimed chefs from around the world to reinterpret local ingredients through global culinary techniques. Beyond the tastings and live cooking showcases, the event also highlights the richness of regional cuisine and the growing global appreciation for Filipino food.
The fair's Day 2 and 3 in the weekends are open for everyone and will happen at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
May 23: Summer in the Sky
SM Mall of Asia is marking two decades of iconic memories with “Summer in the Sky: A Food, Arts, and Music Festival.” The event transforms the MOA Sky into a massive summer celebration featuring food stalls, art installations, live music, and a maker’s market.
While the fair is open to the public, concert access can be secured through qualifying receipts from participating MOA establishments.
Public activities run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., while concert gates open at 4:30 p.m. Ticket prices are as follows: VIP for a P5,000 single receipt, Premium for a P3,500 single receipt, and Regular for a P2,500 single receipt.
Until May 31: Jesus Christ Superstar
The acclaimed Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” continues its Manila run at The Theatre at Solaire. Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, the rock opera has earned praise for its electrifying performances and reimagined staging. Theatergoers can expect powerhouse vocals, dramatic storytelling, and one of musical theater’s most iconic scores performed live onstage.
The show runs until May 31 at The Theatre at Solaire. Tickets are available through TicketWorld.
May 23-24: CODM Summer Festival 2026
Mobile gaming fans can head to SMX Aura for CODM SummerFest 2026: Bakunawa Arises, a large-scale celebration for the Call of Duty: Mobile community. The festival features two major tournaments with a combined P100,000 prize pool, alongside activities and matches that bring players and fans together.
The event will happen at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura. Attendees can watch tournaments and participate in community activities.
May 23-24: Tiny Tycoon
For those bringing in kids, allow them to explore life skills at this young entrepreneurship event.
