Pinoy personalities attend BTS' 'Arirang' comeback concert in Korea

Several Pinoy celebrities braved a downpour at Goyang Stadium on Thursday, April 5, to witness BTS’ "Arirang" comeback concert.

Just weeks after catching the group’s historic Gwanghwamun Square performance, these stars proved their "OT7" devotion once again—some even bringing their partners along for the ride.

BTS returned the energy tenfold, delivering a thrilling mix of their new hits alongside fan favorites Fake Love and Dynamite.

Megan Young

Longtime BTS fan Megan Young posted about her excitement in an Instagram post.

Young appeared solo in a hooded maroon jacket beneath a transparent raincoat while holding a light blue umbrella to shield herself on a rainy day. 

"Dito na me. Where na u @bts.bighitofficial," she captioned. "so excited for tonight!" she added, with three purple heart emojis representing the boy group.

The former actress and beauty queen was also in the group's comeback live show in Seoul with her husband Mikael Daez.

Shaira and EA Guzman

Newly married couple Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman, who are both confessed to being ARMY, also showed up at the Goyang Stadium.

"LIVING MY DREAM @bts.bighitofficial rain or shine, we’ll always follow you!" Diaz said in her Instagram post. "mag swim narin kami dito #BTS #btsarmy #Arirang #btsconcert," she added.

Mariz Umali and Raffy Tima

Broadcast journalist and ARMY Mariz Umali also went with her journo husband Raffy Tima for the concert. Umali even had a lightstick with her as she and her husband both wore raincoats.

"This was once just part of my bucket list back when the Bangtan boys were on hiatus," Umali shared in her Instagram photo carousel. "I never expected it to happen this soon… and at their kickoff concert, of all moments. When you really put your dreams out into the universe, everything somehow aligns to make them happen."
