LTO revokes license of vlogger for multiple traffic violations
The Land Transportation Office has revoked the driver's license of a social media personality due to multiple traffic violations caught on camera while driving his car, which has since gone viral.
In the deleted video, vlogger Norman Mangusin, also known as Francis Leo Marcos, is seen without a seatbelt and frequently glancing at his smartphone while driving an unregistered Ford Expedition that bore a fake plate.
The LTO found him guilty of failure to attach an authorized motor vehicle license plate, mandatory use of a seatbelt, distracted driving, reckless driving, and improper person to operate a motor vehicle. He was ordered to submit a verified explanation.
He was issued a show-cause order by the agency to appear in a hearing with the LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division at the LTO Central Office in Quezon City, but was a no-show, according to LTO spokesperson Markus Lacanilao.
Due to this, the agency has decided to revoke his license for good.
LTO reminded the public that such careless acts are considered distracting driving because they endanger motorists’ lives.
During the 2025 senatorial elections, Marcos withdrew his candidacy in January after he was declared a nuisance candidate.
