Must-try Sogo dishes
Canton Guisado
This must be the most loved and trademark food of Hotel Sogo. This popular menu item is perfect for merienda or special occasions. It is a combination of stir-fried wheat-and-egg noodle dish tossed in a savory soy and oyster sauce with meats, seafood, and crisp vegetables
Half-fried chicken
The famous half-fried chicken is another all-time favorite. A classic fried chicken with no breading needed, often marinated in citrus, soy sauce, and spices.
Bonus: You can get it for free if a staff member does not greet you with the “Sogo” bow.
Crispy Pata
Nothing truly beats a crispy pata. Often served for special occasions and as a classic "pulutan," made from pork leg, deep-fried until golden and crispy, and served with a dip mixed with vinegar, soy sauce, onions, and chili for extra spice.
Crispy Pinakbet
Pinakbet is a popular veggie dish that many Filipinos have grown to love. Hotel Sogo added a twist to this beloved menu item. From the usual mixed veggies sautéed in fermented shrimp or fish paste, their version is topped with crispy pork belly.
