Is Carla Abellana engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend?
Carla Abellana piqued the curiosity of her fans after her recent post on social media hinted that she might be engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend.
On her Instagram account, the actress shared a photo that seems to show her hand holding her boyfriend's, with a ring visible on her finger.
In the caption, she wrote three white hearts and included a verse from the bible, "Jeremiah 29:11: “[']For I know the plans I have for you,['] declares the LORD, [']plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.[']"
Many of her fellow celebrities and followers flocked to the comments section to shower Carla with congratulations and well-wishes.

Other celebrities who expressed their support include Jessy Mendiola, Max Collins, Rocco Nacino, Jodi Sta. Maria, Nikki Valdez, Jason Abalos, Benjamin Alves, and more.
Abellana has yet to reveal the identity of her boyfriend. She first confirmed that she has begun dating again in an Aug. 3 broadcast of 24 Oras Weekend.
"I’ve said it before that it’s about time I open myself to dating, meeting new people, so I decided to try it," she said.
Previously, Abellana was married to actor Tom Rodriguez, having tied the knot in 2021 after a seven-year relationship.
However, Rodriguez announced their separation in June 2022 without getting into much detail about their split. “I left the Philippines for the US last March 13, with the realization that despite all my efforts, Carla had already given up on our marriage,” he said in a statement posted by his manager. “It was not a perfect relationship, but we both know how much we loved each other,” he said.
He came back to the Philippines in 2024. He later revealed that he is now seeing someone else and has welcomed a baby boy with her.
