The Michelin Guide's debut in the Philippines was a national event, instantly elevating Filipino cuisine and securing its place on the world stage. From fine dining places like Deo Gracias to humble neighborhood spots like the Bib Gourmand-awarded Morning Sun Eatery, the recognition has sparked excitement and, in some cases, long lines.

To celebrate, the Quezon City government officially launched the QC Michelin Guide Food Crawl Challenge on Wednesday, encouraging both residents and visitors to explore the city's newly anointed culinary gems. The grand prize? Passes to the QCinema International Film Festival.

To participate, foodies must visit at least three of the seven featured Quezon City restaurants.

These include:

  • Deo Gracias – 12 11th Jamboree, Diliman
  • Esmeralda Kitchen – 43 Mayon St, Santa Mesa Heights
  • Fong Wei Wu – Banawe St, Samat
  • Mōdan – Escalades East Tower, 20th Ave, Cubao
  • Morning Sun Eatery – 120 J.P. Rizal, Project 4
  •  Palm Grill (Diliman) – 179 Tomas Morato Ave, Diliman
  • SOME THAI – 195 Tomas Morato, Scout Fuentebella

Then, they must post a collage or Reel featuring their food crawl journey, with a caption of their favorite QC food moments and the hashtags #MichelinQC #QCinema2025 #QCMoreToExplore. They must also tag QC Tourism & Promotions and QCinema on the post.

The deadline for entries is on Nov. 12.

Two winners who visit at least five restaurants will be given the QCinephile Badge. Each will receive 10 screening credits, 2 exclusive merch sets worth P2,500.

Meanwhile, five individuals who visit at least three restaurants will be the winners of QCinema Merch.

The winner will be announced on the QC Tourism & Promotions Facebook page.

The challenge is from Nov. 14–23 at the Gateway Cineplex, Eastwood Cinemas, Trinoma Mall, Fisher Box Office.
