'Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration' makes PH debut in December
The magic of Hogwarts will soon be felt in the Philippines as “Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration” makes its debut this year.
Presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and Fever, together with GMG Productions, the immersive event that enchanted audiences in Milan, Montreal, Sydney, and Mexico City will arrive at The Space at Solaire beginning Sept. 3 in various sessions.
The experience draws inspiration from the Yule Ball, the grand winter Triwizard Tournament tradition depicted in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book and film that brings together students from different wizarding schools for an evening of music, dancing, and festivities.
Fans can expect to be taken into a magical world filled with performances and interactive activities. While dressing up is optional, attendees are encouraged to wear their finest Wizarding World-inspired formal attire.
The evening will kick off with welcome dances and introductions, followed by hors d’oeuvres and photo opportunities throughout the venue.
Guests can join the “Champions Waltz,” take part in a dance competition, and showcase their creativity in a fashion parade.
Visitors can likewise explore the Yule Ball market, which will offer official merchandise and specially crafted beverages designed exclusively for the event.
Guiding the festivities are two masters of ceremony and four representatives from Hogwarts’ houses, who will lead games and cheer on participants throughout the celebration.
The Space at Solaire Resort in Entertainment City will be transformed into a whimsical winter ballroom reminiscent of Hogwarts’ Great Hall, featuring silver draping, Christmas decorations, scenic installations, and music adapted from the original soundtrack.
Beginning July 21, tickets will be available via Ticketworld starting at P1,500 for kids ages 4-10, with VIP tickets at P4,250, which includes early access to the pre-show area. Premium pricing applies on select dates and sessions. Ticket quantities are limited, so better grab them the soonest!
