At TruForm Studio, the goal is a better day—starting with your Pilates workout
Pilates studios may be opening on every corner, but finding one that’s actually affordable, effective, and community-driven is easier said than done. TruForm Studio, a recent addition to Diliman, Quezon City, aims to fill that gap by offering a welcoming environment for everyone.
For founder Henny Angelica Dee, the studio is a way to share the "escape" she found in Pilates with anyone looking to unplug from the daily grind.
"[Pilates] became more than just a workout," she said. "At that time, strict yung parents ko sa paglabas because of COVID. So it became an escape from my daily routine at home."
Now open to practitioners of all levels, TruForm Studio provides tailored one-on-one, duo, and group classes. Their Pilates classes spans various modalities, utilizing the mat, chair, reformer, barrel, and cadillac.
Apart from that, they also have Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Power, and Tantra yoga classes.
They are also one of the more affordable Pilates studios, offering as low as P600 for mat and yoga classes, and P900 per session for group reformer classes.
TruForm Studio said it is also open to hosting private parties and events.
The space is intentionally aesthetic, pairing a minimalist vibe with mirrors and eye-catching blush pink equipment. For Dee, the design is about more than just looks—it's about feeling.
"I want it sana to be clean and calming and warm kasi I want it also to be a safe space for other people," she said.
At its core, TruForm is about transformation. As Dee puts it: "Gusto ko, before the class, they're looking forward to come here. Tapos after the class, they feel calm and happy, and yung mind and body nila conditioned na to continue the day or to start the day."
