Kiray Celis officially marries Stephan Estopia: 'Misis na'
It's not just a photoshoot this time—Kiray Celis has officially tied the knot with her longtime partner, entrepreneur Stephan Estopia.
On her Instagram account, the actress and comedian delighted her fans as she posted pictures of her big day at the Shrine of St. Therese in Newport, Pasay City on Dec. 13.
One picture showed the two of them sharing a sweet kiss as they walked down the aisle, with Kiray wearing a floor-sweeping wedding gown with a long veil while Stephan looked sharp in his white suit jacket with black trousers.
Another photo showed the two of them being surrounded by their loved ones in yellow and gray outfits, cheering for them as they exchanged another smooch.
"Misis na ni Stephan Estopia!" Kiray wrote in the caption.
On her Instagram stories, she also shared a glimpse of her wedding vows to her husband.
"Ako ang pinakamaswerteng babae sa mundo dahil alam ko na hindi ka lang magiging mabuting asawa, pero magiging the best na tatay ka sa future nating pamilya," Kiray said.
"Mula sa una kitang makilala hanggang sa ngayon na nasa harap na tayo ng altar, never nagbago 'yung pagmamahal ko sa'yo at excited akong isigaw sa mundo na ako na ang misis mo. Si Mrs. Estopia na ako," she continued.
Among the celebrities who attended their wedding were Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Vice Ganda, Ryan Bang, and more.
In November, the couple sent the internet buzzing after she posted scenes of what appears to be an intimate beach wedding at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan. However, Kiray later clarified that they had not tied the knot yet, and this was simply part of a music video shoot.
Kiray and Stephan, who have been together since December 2019, got engaged in April.
In an interview with Julius Babao for his YouTube vlog, Celis shared why it took her then-boyfriend a while to propose to her: she requested that her engagement ring be worth P1 million minimum. She explained, "Kapag nagyaya ka magpakasal, kailangan isang milyon ang minimum ng singing kasi kapag nangangailangan tayo, siyempre e 'di ibenta ko 'yung singsing."
