Adrenaline junkies and nature enjoyers, there's a new attraction in Batangas that will get your heart pumping.

A first-of-its-kind glass walkway, called the Montemaria Miracle Walk, is set to open to the public.

Located in Barangay Pagkilatan, Batangas City, the structure is made from three-inch-thick glass and is 135 meters high. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely but thrilling along the 118-meter-long transparent walkway, which is about 30 meters wide.

The bridge not only awakens the daredevil in its guests but also treats them to breathtaking views of Batangas Bay, the Verde Island Passage Marine Biodiversity Center, and the rest of the Montemaria International Pilgrimage and Conference Center.

The glass walkway is secure to walk on, as it has been reinforced with imported metals for stability.

The pilgrimage center, where the Miracle Walk is located, houses the Mother of All Asia - Tower of Peace, the world's tallest statue of the Virgin Mary at 98.15m. Montemaria also plans to add other attractions like hotels for tourists and pilgrims, a marine museum, a rosary trek, and residential units.

The opening date and entrance fee prices for the Montemaria Miracle Walk have yet to be announced. However, a previous GMA Integrated News report said it was slated to open before Christmas in 2024 with an estimated P250 to 350 entrance fee.

Montemaria in Barangay Pagkilatan is about two to three hours away from Metro Manila by car.
