March has been intense, TBH. What better way to wrap it up than with a great weekend? Several events are lined up, from concerts and an improv festival to speed dating and the Stations of the Cross.

March 27: The OPM Friends at Newport Performing Arts Theater
Enjoy a night listening and singing along to greatest hits from some of the country’s most iconic OPM artists on The OPM Friends: Groovin' Greatest Hits on Friday, March 27, 8 p.m. at Newport Performing Arts Theater.
The star-studded lineup includes Nanette Inventor, Celeste Legaspi, Leah Navarro, Mitch Valdes, Bo Cerrudo, Pat Castillo, Pinky Marquez, and Ding Mercado, and Nonoy Zuñiga as the special guest.

March 27-29: Manila Improv Festival
If improv theater is your thing, don't miss the five-day Manila Improv Festival, which kicked off last March 25 and runs until March 29 at Proscenium at Rockwell, Makati City.
Improvisational theater is an unscripted art where scenes and stories are created in the moment, and made even more special with the audience and the room’s energy.
Carrying the theme, "Rise to the Movement," expect live performances and workshops with local and international artists, along with a broader exploration of improvisation. Beyond improv theater, the festival brings together artists from various disciplines, presenting works that blend music, movement, rhythm, spoken word, and other spontaneous forms.

March 27-29: Mabining Mandirigma: A Steampunk Musical
The multi-awarded theater play returns for its 10th anniversary staging, retelling the life of Apolinario Mabini through a steampunk lens. The musical explores Mabini’s role in shaping Filipino nationalism through intellect and integrity.

March 28: Go Negosyo Women Summit 2026
Spearheaded by Go Negosyo, the summit celebrates Filipino women entrepreneurs and their contributions across industries. Discussions will focus on innovation, leadership, and the role of digitalization in business growth.
This will happen at Ayala Malls Manila Bay beginning 8 a.m. Registration and ticket details are in Go Negosyo’s official platforms.
March 28-29: Cosplay Carnival
Anime lovers, unite! In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Cosplay Carnival is holding an "Eternal Emerald" convention from March 28 to 29 at SMX Convention Center Manila.
Expect guest interviews with your favorite cosplayers, a karaoke contest, a cosplay competition, a dance battle, and more. March 28: Love is Blind 2: A Speed Dating event
Single and ready to make a meaningful connection with someone? Single Events Manila is holding Love is Blind 2, a speed dating event on Saturday, March 28, from 8 p.m. to midnight at The Ministry Lounge Bar in Poblacion, Makati City.
At the event, participants will wear blindfolds while getting to know each other through energy and emotions, skipping the usual first impression based solely on profile photos.

March 28: The Witcher in concert
Calling all The Witcher fans! After being postponed, The Witcher in Concert is finally coming to The Theatre at Solaire on March 28, 3 p.m.
The event will transform the story of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt into an immersive experience, featuring the soundtrack composed and arranged by Marcin Przybyłowicz, with Mikołaj Stroiński, Piotr Musiał, and folk band Percival Schuttenbach, performed by a professional orchestra.
The Witcher franchise is an RPG series based on the book of the same title. It was adapted into a Netflix live-action series in November 2019 and recently spawned an animated movie dubbed The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which premiered in 2021, and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, which premiered on Feb. 11 of this year.

March 28-29: Manila Pen Show
With a theme “Hello Retro” centered on timelessness of writing tools, the event features its largest setup yet with over 60 exhibitors offering pens, inks, notebooks, and handcrafted goods across expanded spaces. International and join local brands will converge to create a diverse marketplace for collectors and hobbyists.
The gathering takes place at Fairmont Makati from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available via Helixpay or at the gate.
March 28-29: Play at Ayala Malls The 30th
Ayala Malls The 30th hosts Play, a pop culture and hobby event featuring trading card games, collectibles, and niche finds like handmade crafts and vinyl records.
The free event is located on the ground floow hallway and is open during mall hours.
March 28-29: Unplugged: Sole Survivor
Repertory Philippines presents a staged reading of Sole Survivor, which follows the Wilde twins and the people around them, blending humor and introspection in a two-act narrative. Written by Patricia Manuel Go and directed by Cara Barredo, the production highlights themes of ambition, consequence, and identity.
Shows will happen at the REP Eastwood Theater at 7 p.m. Tickets are available via Ticketworld.
March 29: Art of Expression: Healing Through Art watercolor workshop
Learn art meaningfully and join the Art of Expression: Healing Through Art watercolor workshop on Sunday, March 29, 8:30 a.m. at The CityFlats Circuit Makati.
Brought by Love Hope Dream Foundation, Inc., the workshop aims to create a safe and supportive space for breast cancer warriors to regain a sense of empowerment through art.

March 29: Faith Walk in Bonifacio High Street
With the Holy Week coming up soon, take part in BGC’s Faith Walk tradition and journey through 14 immersive Stations of the Cross, which allows you to reflect and have a quiet prayer.

March 29: World of Dance Philippines 2026
The competition's Philippine leg is back, showcasing top dance talents from across the country in high-level performances, paving the path to international stages. Participants will compete across various dance styles in front of judges and a live audience.
