Singaporeans and Filipinos in the Lion City can soon enjoy a taste of home as Cafe Mary Grace opens its very first international branch.

The beloved Filipino bakery-cafe officially opens its doors in Tanjong Pagar on Friday, March 13, bringing its signature ensaymadas, cheese rolls, and savory dishes to locals and expats alike.

"After months of dreaming [and] building, we’re beyond excited to open our very first café outside the Philippines, right here in Singapore. This milestone is more than a new store. It’s a piece of home we’re honoured to share with you. Thank you for being a part of our journey," the cafe shared.

The classic merienda dishes are also arriving with a "little local twist" as an ode to Singapore. Recent social media posts suggest new variations inspired by "familiar tastes close to every Singaporean’s heart," featuring flavors that appear to be Kaya and salted egg.

An Instagram update also confirmed that Mary Grace will serve its full dining menu, including fan favorites like the Crispy Cassava Chips and Sirloin Beef Tapa.

The restaurant’s signature cozy atmosphere has also been carefully replicated in the new space.

"Every little thing, from wall decor to handwritten touches, has been specially chosen by Mary Grace herself to make our first international home your home away from home," the post read.

Reservations for the opening weekend are now open via this link.

Cafe Mary Grace is located at 52 Tras Street, Tanjong Pagar. It is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
