You can buy this Paraíba-type tourmaline for around P21.1 million at this HK jewels and jadeite sale

Whether your dream is to own a Paraíba-style jewelry or you just happen to be in Hong Kong and have a moment to revel in the sheer luxury of high-end jewelry, the Bonhams Hong Kong Jewels & Jadeite sale is an event you cannot miss.

The live sale, happening on Nov. 23, is a curated collection of pieces from the world's most illustrious houses, including creations by Bulgari, Cartier, Cerrone, Chaumet Paris, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more. It features private collections brimming with rare and highly collectable jewels, offering diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, and rubies.

One highlight is the rare, unmounted oval Paraíba-type Tourmaline weighing 160.75 carats. This natural, crystal-clear, blue-green color of African origin is offered with an estimate of HK$2,800,000-5,000,000 (around P21.1 million to P37.7 million).

As Katy Lai, Bonhams’ Head of Sale and Specialist of Jewellery, said, this event will give collectors "an opportunity to acquire truly unique pieces."

Aside from the Paraíba-style tourmaline, you can also find two pair-shaped emerald pendants weighing over 60 carats, selling for over HK$1,800,000- 3,500,000 (P13.5 million to P26.4 million).

A Bulgari diamond necklace and earclip set featuring 18 principal oval diamonds, as well as a royal blue GF & F The Haute Joaillerie ring, which features a 17.10 carat octagonal step-cut unheated sapphire of Burmese origin, are also part of the live selling event.

Meanwhile, a Marcus & Co. emerald and diamond pendant necklace, circa 1920, featuring an approximate 10.00 carat untreated Colombian emerald, is around HK$1,300,000-1,800,000 (P9.8 million to P13.5 million).

Those eyeing a fancy rock on their finger can keep the Cerrone Faint Pink Diamond and Diamond Ring in mind. It weighs 8.00 carats of natural color, VVS2 clarity, Type IIa. The ring is offered at around HK$1,600,000 – 2,500,000 (P12 million to P18.8 million).

The Bonhams Hong Kong Jewels & Jadeite sale will take place at the Bonhams Hong Kong, located at 50 Queen's Road East, Wanchai.
