Influencer dies at 43 after surgery to enhance his manhood
Influencer Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo, who is known as Denisi or Ego, has passed away at the age of 43 after he went through a penis enlargement procedure that went wrong.
The tragic news was confirmed by a coroner to TMZ. According to the news outlet, the British-Nigerian businessman flew to Thailand in March to have 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his member.
Afterwards, Ubiribo and his wife went to get a massage, but began suffering from chest pain and blacked out twice. He was then transported to a local hospital where doctors performed CPR for more than 100 minutes, but he ultimately died in the early hours of March 6.
Coroner Jean Harkin later ruled that the cause of his death was pulmonary embolism due to tthe cosmetic procedure. This is a sudden blockage in an artery of the lungs, usually caused by a blood clot that travels from a deep vein in the leg.
Per Cleveland Clinic, there are several risks associated with penis enlargement procedures, including having a bad reaction to anesthesia, scarring or inflammatory reaction, getting an infection, erectile dysfunction, and more.
Ubiribo was laid to rest in London in May in a gold coffin reportedly costing more than $745,000 (P46 million).
He was known for making content about his luxury lifestyle online, such as traveling to different countries and trying thrilling activities like skydiving and skiing.
