'Lesson learned': Kaye Abad gets robbed in Las Vegas
Kaye Abad shared that she lost some of her belongings to thieves during her trip to Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, Nov. 19, the actress recalled her unfortunate experience on her Facebook page as she posted a photo of herself at a police station.
She was with her husband Paul Jake Castillo and their two kids when it happened.
“We went to Vegas para magbakasyon and isuroy ang kids. Never did I think that one of the places I’d end up visiting was the police station,” she began.
Abad said that her bag, which contained important documents like IDs and passports, was stolen inside her car.
“We just had lunch for 1 hour and this happened,” she added, reminding her social media followers to always be cautious with their belongings.
Nevertheless, Abad considered the incident a learning experience and was thankful for her family's safety. “Anyways, lesson learned.”
“I still believe that everything happens for a reason,” she added. “Kung ano man ang reason Niya, iniisip ko na lang everything can be replaced. My family is safe. God is good.”
There's no update yet on whether she's been able to recover her stolen items as of writing.
Abad is best known for playing Eds in the 1993 television series Tabing Ilog and as Shane in the 2024 Netflix film The Journey.
