The Kelly Clarkson Show is closing the curtain after seven seasons.

Kelly Clarkson announced the decision to step away from the talk show on Feb. 2 in an Instagram post.

"Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives," she stated.

Production on season 7 of the show will continue. The final episodes are set to air in the fall.

Clarkson also guaranteed fans that this won't be the last they'll see of her.

"This isn't goodbye. I'll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on The Voice from time to time... You never know where I might show up next," she said.

Furthermore, the Since U Been Gone singer thanked her band and crew, whom she worked with on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

"I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, and alll the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner."

This all comes six months after Clarkson's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, her former manager and the father of her two children, died in August 2025 after battling with melanoma.

The Kelly Clarkson Show premiered in 2019. It typically opened with the American Idol winner doing a "Kellyoke," or song covers, and featured interviews with celebrities and other interesting personalities, including Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Jim Carrey, John Cena, and more.

The show has earned accolades, including 24 Daytime Emmys for awards like outstanding daytime talk series and talk show host.
