Sharon Cuneta shared it was her first time visiting the Senate since her husband Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan was elected in 2001.

"So for the first time since Kiko was elected in 2001 (2002?), I stepped into the Senate’s halls," she wrote in the caption of her post.

The Megastar said that her best friend Lorraine and her husband, Jello, wanted to watch the proceedings of Vice President Sara Duterte, so Cuneta joined them. Cuneta and Pangilinan's daughter, Frankie, also attended the trial.

“Interesting. But it was too cold & I was hungry!” she jokingly wrote.

The video showed Pangilinan focused on the proceedings before seemingly making eye contact with Cuneta, who was watching from the audience.

Pangilinan also shared the clip on Instagram with the caption, “Yung seryoso ka sa trabaho pero nag eye contact kayo ng sweet heart mo.”

Both Cuneta and Pangilinan used the trending song, Na Para Bang by Mariah Deborah, in their posts and referenced it in their captions, writing, “Hindi lang Sabado. Buong linggo, buong buwan, buong taon at buong buhay sa’yong sayo.”

Cuneta and Pangilinan got married in 1996 and share three children—Frankie, Miel, and Miguel. Pangilinan served as a senator from 2001 to 2013 and 2016 to 2022, and currently serves another term.
