Miss Earth Indonesia 2025 Putri Andriani Juficha's death announced on her 26th birthday

Former Miss Earth Indonesia 2025 Putri Andriani Juficha has died at age 25.

The news was confirmed by the Miss Grand Indonesia pageant on Friday, Aug. 14, on what would have been her 26th birthday.

“With deepest sorrow, the Miss Grand Indonesia Organization mourns the passing of Putri Andriani Juficha, Runner-Up Miss Grand Indonesia 2025,” they wrote.

“You were more than a titleholder. You were part of our Grand family, a beautiful soul whose grace, strength, and spirit touched so many hearts.” the organization continued. “Although your journey with us has come to an end far too soon, the memories, love, and light you shared will forever remain in our hearts. May you rest peacefully in the embrace of the Almighty, and may your beautiful soul find eternal peace.”

They concluded the post by offering prayers and condolences to Juficha's family and loved ones.

A cause of death for Juficha has not been announced as of writing.

In her pageant bio, Miss Earth Indonesia shared that Juficha had a “commitment to environmental advocacy.” She dedicated her work to promoting waste recycling, protecting rivers from pollution, and safeguarding communities and the planet.

"By combining her background in communications with her growing expertise in environmental law, she strives to empower society with knowledge and practical solutions to build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future." it said.

Outside her pageant and academic pursuits, she was also a singer.

Juficha, also a runner-up at the Miss Grand Indonesia 2025 pageant, held a degree in Communications and was pursuing Master's in Law.
