Joy of K-pop girl group Red Velvet is leaving SM Entertainment when her contract ends, according to a report.

Star News exclusively reported on Saturday, Sept. 21 that the idol is getting ready to part ways with her current management to find a new one following the expiration of her contract. The K-entertainment outlet added she's been scheduling meetings with various agencies that focus on actor management.

A representative of SM Entertainment, however, told Herald POP later in the day that it's still under discussion.

SM Entertainment has confirmed that Seulgi and Irene have renewed their contracts with them in August 2023 and February 2024, respectively. No development has been announced so far concerning Joy, Yeri, and Wendy.
