Sad news for ice cream lovers: Carousel Creamery is closing its store after 10 years.

The ice cream shop announced in a social media post that it will cease operations by the end of the month, saying it's "unable to continue with the high rent."

"It has been lovely to serve you and your ice cream needs the last 10 years," it said. "We have come to feel the warmth and love of each and [every one] of you."

You will, however, still be able to satisfy your Carousel Creamery cravings after its store closure on June 30 as it will continue to offer its cups, pints, and half gallons via its Big Scoop stores; Ever and Fisher supermarkets; online stores like Builtamart and Big Scoop Ice Cream on Grab, foodpanda, and Pick.A.Roo; restaurants and cafes like Morton's Steakhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, Smith & Wollenskey, French Baker, Candid Coffee, Soft Habit, and NYX; and other resellers.

"One day, we will have a store again but probably in a smaller format but still with the same dedication to quality," the dessert brand continued.

The management gave a special mention to its staff and celebrity customers as they invited everyone to "enjoy our last month and come by when you can."

Carousel Creamery opened in December 2015 along Missouri St. in Greenhills, San Juan. It has since been loved for its carnival-like concept and 101 ice cream flavors, including Beer & Chicharon.
