Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert reveal gender of second child

The gender of Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert's baby no. 2 has been revealed!

In a YouTube vlog uploaded on Sunday, Sept. 15, the couple shared that they are expecting a girl. 

"We were so so so so sure we were going to have a boy," Sophie shared.

"Yes, kasi ang daming signs," Vin added as he pointed out Sophie's belly shape during pregnancy. (It's been believed that a woman is carrying a boy if her belly is round. Health information website, Healthline, however, noted that it's just a myth and that how one carries her pregnancy "has to do with a number of factors, none of which indicate the sex of your baby.")

"'Yung pagbubuntis mo noon, ibang ibang sa pagbubuntis mo ngayon," Vin also told Sophie.

"I'm so excited when baby tiny comes!" their firstborn Avianna Celeste said.

Sophie announced that she and Vin are expecting their second child in July as she shared photos of their family on Instagram and gave a look at her growing baby bump.

The couple got married in January last year after a decade of being together. They first met in 2012 via a reality talent search show called Artista Academy. They got engaged in December 2020 and moved in together in 2021. They welcomed their baby girl in March 2021.

Sophie started her career as a commercial and print ad model before becoming an actress, while Vin is best known for his portrayals in various shows such as Wildflower, A Soldier's Heart, and Past, Present, Perfect?, among others.
