Apple has unveiled a new AirTag with improved features.

According to the tech giant, this next generation of the tracking accessory—which helps find lost items and Apple devices through Apple's Find My App via haptic, visual, and audio feedback—has a more powerful Precision Finding feature, a longer Bluetooth range, and a louder speaker to help users locate lost items more easily.

Using a second-generation Ultra Wideband chi also found in the iPhone 17 lineup, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch Series, the new AirTag offers a 50% increase in Precision Finding accuracy.

The built-in speaker has also been upgraded, delivering sound that’s 50% louder with a distinct chime audible from twice the previous distance.

Its Share Item Location feature now works with customer service teams from more than 50 airlines, making luggage recovery faster and more efficient. Data from airline IT provider SITA shows the feature has reduced baggage delays by 26% and cut cases of unrecoverable luggage by 90%.

To protect user privacy, Apple ensures all location information is encrypted end-to-end and not stored on the AirTag itself.

The tracker is also designed with sustainability in mind, featuring recycled plastic, rare earth elements, and gold plating.

The new AirTag costs P1,990 for a single pack and P6,790 for a four-pack. You may also opt to personalize it with free engraving.
