North West is already pursuing a career in music, but the 13-year-old has another job in mind: working at Starbucks.

In an interview with Dazed, West said she wants to get a job at the coffee chain next year, when she turns 14, because she wants to experience having a “regular job.”

When asked what career she would pursue if she were not an artist. She said she had once considered becoming a basketball player, but has since changed her mind.

“I still wanna work. I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year,” West said. “I think I can next year ’cause I’m gonna be 14, so… I think I can. I want to have a regular job, I guess.”

The teen also shared that she tends to avoid activities she feels she isn't good at, saying, “I don’t like to do things that I’m bad at.”

West's interest in having a "regular job" comes as she continues to pursue music. She released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May and recently released a music video for Aishite, a song from the project.

The teen artist also told Dazed that music is something she wants to pursue seriously. When asked about the worst advice she had received, she said it was being told to start her career later.

“It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life,” she said.

West is the eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Ye (formerly Kanye West). She has pursued music from a young age and released her debut EP in 2026. She has also appeared in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and performed at music events, including Summer Smash.
