July is here! Is a wardrobe refresh part of your mid-year to-do list?

One of the easiest ways to give yourself a boost is by dressing in pieces that make you feel your best. This month, fashion brands are rolling out fresh drops that are perfect for mixing and matching—from playful shoe charms and Pinoy basketball-inspired adidas sneakers to exciting store openings.

Check out the latest fashion drops below:

PUMA Tacklette

Love Mary Janes but can't give up your sneakers? PUMA's new Tacklette brings the best of both styles together.

PUMA has launched the Tacklette in the Philippines, blending the classic Mary Jane silhouette with its signature terrace-inspired sneaker design. Made for everyday wear, the shoe features a suede-and-leather upper, a low-profile sole, and a SoftFoam+ sockliner for added comfort.

The brand also teamed up with JD Sports for the Tacklette Charm, an exclusive version featuring a sakura-inspired charm. Customers who purchase either pair during the promo period will receive a limited-edition PUMA x JD Sakura Anklet, while supplies last.

The collection starts at P3,900 and is available beginning July 9. The Tacklette Charm is exclusive to JD Sports, while the standard Tacklette is also sold at PUMA stores and select retailers.

Birkenstock's "The Philippines by Foot" campaign

Between the intense heat and our admittedly less-than-perfectly paved streets, choosing to walk in the Philippines can sometimes feel like a challenge. Yet, there is something incredibly grounding about exploring on foot; it inspires us to slow down, discover hidden corners, and truly connect with the history and culture of our country.

Recognizing this, global footwear icon Birkenstock has launched "The Philippines by Foot," a campaign in partnership with the Department of Tourism and the Tourism Promotions Board. This movement aims to encourage Filipinos to rediscover the country's rich heritage sites and communities one step at a time.

The initiative began with an inaugural community walk starting at Kilometer Zero in Rizal Park, the exact geographic benchmark of the archipelago. Participants took a contemplative route past historic landmarks like the Rizal Monument, the grounds of Jose Rizal's martyrdom, and the Gomburza Marker before concluding at the National Museum complex. The exploration continued the next morning in partnership with the Just Walk PH community, visiting the streets of Intramuros.

To celebrate the launch, an evening event was held at the mid-century halls of The Henry Hotel Manila where the Birkenstock Museo, a unique museum-style exhibition of the brand, was displayed. The gallery highlighted the authentic stories of nearly 50 Filipino Birkenstock wearers, including celebrated cultural icons like Apo Whang-Od, chef Jordy Navarra, and furniture craftsman Edward Sibunga.

Filipinos can look forward to even more "Philippines By Foot" community walks hosted in various regional hubs. By partnering with local communities, the movement seeks to give people a reason to see their country through a renewed sense of wonder rather than daily routine.

"We're inviting every single of you to experience our country, not from a distance, but up close. We try to slow down, to become more present and to appreciate the beauty of movement, of meaning, discovery," said Jimmy Thai, CEO of the Primer Group of Companies, during the launch.

adidas Anthony Edwards 2

Pinoys are undeniably fans of basketball. If you're looking for your next pair or shopping for the baller in your life, adidas has unveiled a Philippines-exclusive version of Anthony Edwards' signature shoe.

The Anthony Edwards 2 "Magpakitang Gilas" pays tribute to local hoops culture through details inspired by the Philippine flag and the spirit of bayanihan. The upper features a gradient of blue hues, complemented by a cool red sockliner and lime yellow stitching that reimagines the colors of the national flag.

The design also packs in subtle nods to Filipino basketball culture. The left shoe tongue reads "Magpakitang Gilas," while the right features "Shine for the Squad." The lace tips are stamped with "Pilipinas" and "Basketball," and a custom debossed three-stripe weave pattern incorporates Filipino-inspired textures into adidas' signature look.

Beyond its patriotic details, the Anthony Edwards 2 is built for performance with a Lightstrike midsole, Boost cushioning, and a secure fit for quick cuts and explosive moves.

The Anthony Edwards 2 "Magpakitang Gilas" retails for P8,000 and is available at adidas.com.ph and select adidas stores.
