Still haven't found the perfect podcast for you?

Alexa+ can now create that for you with the help of artificial intelligence.

The generative AI assistant's new feature lets it come up with podcast episodes on any topic you'd want to know more about. You can use it for learning, upskilling, among others.

Amazon News said Alexa+ draws on content from more than 200 news publications and a variety of sources to deliver accurate and updated information to you. It's also exploring the possibility of making news briefings or recordings based on personal documents in the future.

How to use Alexa Podcasts

To create your custom audio content, simply ask Alexa about a certain topic you are interested in, and it will generate that for you within minutes.

The AI assistant will pull together relevant information on the particular topic and will give an overview of the scope, length, and conversational direction of the podcast, which you can adjust before generating the actual output.

Once you are satisfied with the customizations, Alexa will then create it with AI-generated host voices.

When the episode is ready, you'll get a notification on your Echo Show device and the Alexa app. You can also find the episode in the Music and More section.

Simply tap to start listening to your custom-made podcast episode.

Alexa+ is a generative AI-powered AI assistant first announced in Amazon's 2025 Devices & Services Event. It was first rolled out to the Echo Show 8, 10, 15, and 21 devices. Amazon Prime customers can access Alexa+ on Alexa.com and the Alexa app for free.
