You can now download a free dictionary app for Tagalog words
Ever struggled to find the right Tagalog word or definition without having to use Google? Wonder no more as there is now a free Tagalog dictionary app that you can download to help you out!
Called "KWF Diksi," the app serves as a reliable reference for Tagalog words drawn from the database of the Diksiyonaryo ng Wikang Filipino, which has been updated to reflect modern use, follow national spelling rules, and include words from local and foreign languages.
Each entry contains definitions, grammatical information, variants, language of origin, field of use, and more.
When you open the app, simply type the word you're looking for into the search bar.
Upon clicking the search result, you will be directed to the word’s full entry, which has its definition, synonyms, and how it's used in a sentence. Depending on the word, you may also see how it is used as a noun, a verb, or an adjective.
You can also bookmark a certain word as favorite if you want to easily find it later or create your own personalized list of words to study.
What's better is that KWF Diksi is available even without an internet connection.
The app can be downloaded through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
