Solenn, Erwan Heussaff mourn death of father Louis
Solenn and Erwan Heussaff's family is grieving the loss of their father, Louis Paul Heussaff.
In an Instagram post, Cynthia Heussaff detailed that her husband passed away on the morning of Oct. 31 after struggling with dementia over the past few years.
"While the last few years have been difficult, we hope that those who knew and loved him will remember him for the person he was, keep his spirited tales alive and cherish their happiest memories of him," she said.
Solenn took to her own Instagram page to share a sweet picture of her embracing her father while he sat in a wheelchair. She captioned it with a simple red heart emoji.
Erwan, on the other hand, shared Cynthia's post on his Instagram stories and wrote, "Free."
Fellow celebrities such as Vhong Navarro, Isabelle Daza, Rhian Ramos, Rufa Mae Quinto, Heart Evangelista, and more have expressed their condolences to their family for the loss.
According to the World Health Organization, dementia is a condition that affects memory, thinking, and the ability to perform daily activities. It can be caused by many different diseases that damage the brain and has no cure.
