Three new stations will be added to the EDSA busway, the Department of Transportation announced.

The agency said that construction of the new stops in Cubao, Magallanes, and Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange will begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The stations are expected to be finished by the following year, the transportation undersecretary added.

Apart from this, the agency is set to inaugurate the Kamuning Station in the busway system in 2026. It will come with elevators and escalators for easy accessibility for PWDs, senior citizens, and pregnant women.

The EDSA busway has 26 stations traveling along the main thoroughfare from Caloocan City to Parañaque.

Earlier in December, the DOTr also said that commuters can begin paying for fares via GCash.

Moreover, the Department of Public Works and Highways' EDSA rehabilitation project is currently ongoing, with 24-hour works happening from Roxas Boulevard to Orense until Jan. 5, 5 a.m.
