Sarah Geronimo to skip Aurora Music Festival 2026
Sarah Geronimo will be skipping this year's Aurora Music Festival in Clark, Pampanga.
Her handler Viva Artists Agency broke the news on Saturday, April 2 in a Instagram statement addressed to Geronimo's fans and the event organizer.
"Earlier today, after rehearsals, Sarah was examined by her physician and has been advised to take full rest. With her health as our foremost priority, she will unfortunately not be able to perform at the festival," the talent agency revealed.
"We sincerely apologize to the organizers of the Aurora Music Festival. This situation was entirely unforeseen, and we recognize the significant impact this last-minute withdrawal places on the event and everything that has gone into it," the agency added. "We are truly grateful for the understanding and professionalism of the organizing team.
Viva acknowledged the abruptness of the move, saying it was not an easy decision, "but it was necessary to ensure she can recover properly."
"Sarah truly values every opportunity to be on stage and connect with all of you. We hope you can extend your understanding and support during this time," the statement concluded.
The music festival itself released its reaction the news, "Your Aurora fam will just be here sending prayers and well wishes for your fast recovery, @SarahGeronimo The Aurora stage stands ready and will always be here to welcome the return of our Popstar Royalty in the next legs."
Geronimo is supposed to headline the festival Day 1 lineup of artists, including SB19, IV of Spades, Ben&Ben, December Avenue, and Armi Millare.
