Reina Filipinas 2026: Everything you need to know about the pageant

The Philippines has a new beauty pageant to watch!

Reina Filipinas is holding its first-ever edition this Aug. 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay.

At the end of the night, the organization will crown its inaugural queens, who will earn the right to represent the Philippines on the international pageant stage: one at Miss Grand International 2026 and two at the second edition of MGI All Stars.

Here's what to know about the coronation night:

Who are the hosts?

Livening up the finals are Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma and Mister World Philippines 2026 Sean Kyle Ortega, who will serve as the event's main hosts.

They will be joined by fellow pageant queens Gazini Ganados, who won Miss Universe Philippines 2019, and Fuschia Anne Ravena, who was crowned Miss International Queen 2022.

Who will be competing?

A total of 21 candidates from different parts of the Philippines will be competing in the pageant.

Among the faces you may recognize are Alexie Brooks from Iloilo City, who won Miss Eco International 2025 and was among the Top 10 at Miss Universe Philippines 2024, and Angelica Lopez from Palawan, who competed at Miss International 2024.

Other pageant veterans include Scarlett de Mesa, Kristen Marcelino, and Anne Patricia Diaz.

The Miss Grand International 2026 pageant will be held in India on Oct. 10, where Emma Tiglao of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event. Meanwhile, the second edition of MGI All Stars will take place on Dec. 12, which will see Vanessa Pulgarin of Colombia defending her title.
