Nana's agency is planning to pursue "every possible civil and criminal legal action" against the robber who filed a countersuit against the actress.

In its Jan. 2 statement, Korean agency SUBLIME said that it was aware of the countersuit filed by the robber against its artist, reiterating that the authorities had confirmed that the robber had committed the crime.

"During the crime, the assailant—armed with a weapon—inflicted severe harm on Nana and her family, and the resulting physical and psychological pain continues to this day," it continued, per a report by Soompi.

"Nevertheless, without any sign of remorse, the perpetrator has filed a separate complaint against Nana, exploiting her public profile and causing secondary harm through inhumane conduct," it added.

With this, SUBLIME stated that they plan to take all available civil and criminal legal measures against the robber.

"Protecting the rights and interests of our artists is our highest priority. In relation to this matter, we will pursue every possible civil and criminal legal action against the perpetrator," it said. "We will continue to respond responsibly and to the very end to ensure our artist suffers no further harm."

A man in his thirties, previously referred to as "A," was arrested on Nov. 15 after breaking into Nana's residence. He reportedly used a ladder to access the balcony and entered through an unlocked door, and allegedly strangled and injured Nana’s mother upon finding her inside.

Nana woke up from her mother's screams and proceeded to stop the armed intruder. A physical fight broke out, where "A" sustained a laceration on his chin with the weapon he brought to the actress' home.

The actress and her mother were able to subdue the robber by seizing his arm. They immediately contacted the police.

The police had earlier ruled that Nana acted in self-defense.

Nana debuted in 2009 as a member of After School before going into acting, playing leading roles in TV series and films, including Mask Girl, My Man is Cupid, Oh My Ladylord, Confession, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, Kill It, and Justice.
