adidas expands its hybrid training shoe collection with Adizero Dropset Pro
If your workout consists of crushing heavy deadlifts and chasing a 5k PR, you already know the struggle. You’re either running in stiff lifting shoes, or squatting in plush running shoes.
With HYROX taking over the fitness world, training "one way" is officially a thing of the past. You need to be fast and you need to be strong. So why are you still switching between two pairs of shoes—or worse, settling for one that sabotages your other workout?
Meet the Adizero Dropset Pro.
Following the buzz of the Dropset Elite, adidas just dropped this new hybrid pair specifically built for athletes who refuse to choose between strength and speed. In fact, adidas found that nearly half of hybrid athletes (49%) feel their current shoes actively hold them back.
For running, it packs Lightstrike Pro foam and EnergyRods borrowed from adidas' elite racing shoes, giving you light cushioning and a fast heel-to-toe transition.
For lifting, a razor-thin 2.6mm sockliner keeps your feet low to the ground for maximum stability. Finally, for insane grip, the Lighttraxion outsole cuts down on bulk but keeps you glued to the floor.
Want to hear something cool? The Adizero Dropset Pro will be worn by adidas athletes competing at the HYROX World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden this June.
The adidas Adizero Dropset Pro is out for P8,500 online and in stores nationwide.
