Netflix dropped another teaser trailer for the second season of its hit series Squid Game, which premieres on Dec. 26.

In the minute-long trailer released on Oct. 1, The Salesman (Gong Yoo), who recruits participants in the deadly games, can be seen preparing for his day.

He takes a shower, suits up, and loads his briefcase with money.

He can also be seen opening his vault and getting blue and red envelopes, even as he's playing classical music on his vinyl player.

The Salesman then places a calling card with circle, triangle, and square symbols in his breast pocket before taking the elevator and riding the train.

When he alights the train, The Salesman stands on the station and checks his watch, presumably waiting for someone.

At 5 p.m., he addresses someone offscreen as "Sir" and presents the red and blue envelope.

"Would you like to play a game with me?" he says, before "Get back in the game" flashes on the screen.

Squid Game follows the story of 456 individuals, who are buried in financial debt, playing a series of thrilling, deadly games. Only one winner would bring home the jackpot prize of 45.6 billion Korean won (P2 billion).

The first season premiered in October 2021 and has become one of Netflix’s hit series, garnering nods and historic wins in prestigious awards shows like winning six Emmys in 2022.

In the February teaser, Season 1’s protagonist Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung Hae), with his newly cut hair dyed in red, can be seen in a suit as he’s talking to somebody over the phone.

The caller tells him he'll regret his decision, but Seong responds, “I will find you. No matter what it takes.”

Joining Lee and Yoo are the original cast from Season 1 including Lee Byung Hun and Wi Ha-jun.

New players completing the cast are Korean actors Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Yang Dong-geun, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim, and former member of the K-pop group BigBang, Choi Seung-hyun (also known as T.O.P).
