Anthony Jennings confirmed that he and his non-showbiz partner have called it quits as he set the record straight on dating rumors surrounding him and Maris Racal.

In a video circulating on X, the actor broke his silence on the split speculations between him and his girlfriend Jam Villanueva.

"Hiwalay na kami. Months ago na nung naghiwalay kami ni Jam," he shared, adding that it was due to "personal reasons" and that he wanted to keep it private especially since his ex is not part of the entertainment industry.

He then asked social media users to let them deal with the matter by themselves as he told the real score between him and his love team partner.

"Request ko lang din sa lahat syempre na ginugulo 'yung ibang tao, si Jam naman, hindi naman siya artista, pribado 'yung buhay niya, and sa akin naman, ako 'yung may pagkukulang dun, problema ko 'yun, dapat kong ayusin 'yun magisa," he said, "'yun nga, sa lahat ng mga nanggugulo rin sa dalawa—kay Maris din, nadadamay si Maris—magkaibigan lang po kami. Sana matigil na yung mga ganun."

This comes after Villanueva created buzz online with her TikTok reposts about pain, girl instinct, and cheating, raising speculations that she and Jennings have split up.

Some social media users were quick to speculate that Racal was involved in their split. Last July, the actress tearfully announced in a press conference that she and musician Rico Blanco, 51, have called it quits after a five-year relationship. She also clarified that Jennings was not the reason for their split.

"Anthony is out of the picture. It's just me and Rico. Mainly me, I'm the issue," she said.

During Racal's 27th birthday last September, she shared a photo of Jennings giving her a plate with a dessert and the message "Happy Bday" while together on a plane.

Racal and Jennings became on-screen partners in the 2023 romance series Can't Buy Me Love starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, whose love team is called DonBelle.
