Looking for weekend plans?

This weekend, audiences at the Theatre at Solaire will be transported to Berk as the How to Train Your Dragon in Concert takes the stage. The show will bring to life the beloved movie, which features John Powell's Academy Award-nominated score performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra.

Leading the musicians is Thailand's Thanapol Setabrahmana.

Tickets to the first two shows on Dec. 13, 6 p.m. and Dec. 14, 2 p.m. are now limited, but you can catch the seats you want by watching the Dec. 14, 6 p.m. staging.

And as the countdown to Berk begins, organizer Film Concerts PH is offering a "Four to Soar" bundle, where you get one free ticket when you buy three—perfect for families and barkadas. Terms and conditions will apply, but this bundle is available for Tier B: Hiccup and Tier C: Astrid.

For reference, tickets start at Tier E: Fishlegs for P1,999, Tier D: Snotlout for P2,999, Tier C: Astrid for P4,499, Tier B: Hiccup for P5,999, and Tier A: Toothless for P6,999.

Tickets are available via Ticketworld.

Guests can also expect a merch store at the Theatre at Solaire, where they can shop for HTTYD merch. As a special treat, Film Concerts PH is giving away 10% discount vouchers for CO. the Collectible Store, valid until March 14, 2026, during the shows.

How to Train Your Dragon, released in 2010, follows Hiccup, a Norse teenager who lives in Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. His dad is the chief of the clan, but Hiccup has more progressive views that make him an outcast. When he was tossed into dragon-fighting school, he aims to prove himself as a true Viking. Hiccup then encounters an injured dragon named Toothless, forming an unlikely bond.

The franchise has since spawned sequels, including How to Train Your Dragon 2, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, and a 2025 live-action adaptation.
