Vice Ganda’s popular comedy talk show Gandang Gabi Vice is making its much-awaited return this September, six years after its original run ended.

ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes confirmed the show’s comeback during the network’s Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 19. The program will air across GMA Network, Kapamilya Channel, and iWant.

The revived program will bring back Vice Ganda’s signature brand of comedy, celebrity interviews, games, and candid conversations with guests. GGV originally ran for nine years, from 2011 to 2020, with its final episode airing in March 2020.

During its original run, the show featured conversations with various personalities, including former presidents Rodrigo Duterte and the late Noynoy Aquino.

Vice Ganda had previously expressed interest in bringing the program back. In 2023, she said management had asked if she wanted to revive GGV, but noted that she could no longer handle three shows at the same time. She also suggested that a possible comeback could be seasonal rather than another long-running program.

The upcoming revival marks the return of one of Vice Ganda’s most recognizable television programs, with more details about its new season expected to be announced ahead of its September launch.

Vice has served as a host for several TV shows, including It's Showtime, Everybody, Sing!, and LOL: Last Out Laughing Philippines.
