Kylie Verzosa engaged to non-showbiz partner: 'It was an easy yes!'
Wedding bells are ringing in the distance for Kylie Verzosa, who is now engaged to her partner, entrepreneur Emil Eriksen.
The actress shared the news in an exclusive interview with L’Officiel Philippines and Tiffany & Co. According to her, Eriksen popped the question when they reached the end of the trail during their spontaneous hike in the South of France.
"Of course, I said yes. It was an easy yes!" Verzosa told the magazine, adding that she regards the experience as the "best hike of her life."
Per the report, Verzosa believed that "engagement does not feel like a finish line," but rather a "widening of possibilities."
"My horizons grew because of love," she highlighted.
L’Officiel Philippines later released a reel showing Verzosa and Eriksen sharing a loving embrace as the former gave a closer look at her engagement ring. In the same clip, she also highlighted some of the things she loves about her soon-to-be husband.
"I love the way you drag me out of bed early in the morning. I love the way you make me laugh. I love the way you make me grow. You make me see a future. I’m having a bad day, you make me calm. You make me want to dream. You tell me that the world is ours to take. With you, everything is possible," Verzosa said.
The pair have largely kept their relationship behind closed doors. In an interview with ABS-CBN News in 2023, she confirmed that she is dating someone new after calling it quits with Jake Cuenca in 2022.
"I am so happy. Honestly, I want to keep it private this time. It's a private relationship. And it is really, really peaceful," she said.
A year later, Verzosa soft-launched her beau, sharinng some photos of Eriksen during her trip to Saint-Tropez, France.
