BABYMONSTER to hold Manila concert in September
Monstiez, get ready! BABYMONSTER is coming back to Manila.
Based on their announcement on X posted on Monday, May 11, the girl group has added a stop in the Philippines under its Asia and Oceania leg.
The concert will take place on Sept. 5 at the SM Mall of Asia. It will be the group's eighth destination after performing in Seoul and six other cities in Japan.
"As this is a large-scale tour spanning five continents, we are meticulously preparing to deliver a high-quality performance,” the group's company YG Entertainment told Korean outlet The Chosun Daily.
The tour goes after the title of the group's extended play of the same name launched on May 4. It would be their second world tour next to Hello Monsters in January 2025.
The seven-member group will perform with only six members while Rami continues her health-related hiatus.
BABYMONSTER is YG Entertainment’s first girl group in seven years, following BLACKPINK’s debut in 2016.
The group consists of three Korean members, Haram, Ahyeon, and Rora; two Thai members, Pharita and Chiquita; and two Japanese members, Ruka and Asa. They are known for their songs Batter Up, We Go Up, and Psycho.
