Miss World will hold its 75th anniversary celebration in Vietnam.

The pageant organization announced the host country for this year's edition on March 26 during the Dances of Vietnam gala, a preliminary event of Miss World Vietnam.

"Very soon, the world will come together in Vietnam for an extraordinary celebration, one that honors 75 years of Beauty With a Purpose and global unity," it wrote on its Instagram post.

Miss World Organization's chairwoman and CEO Julia Morley, as well as reigning winner Opal Suchata of Thailand, will fly to the Southeast Asian country for the Miss World Vietnam Final on March 29 to announce more details, including the host cities and dates.

“I am truly delighted to celebrate 75 years of Miss World and Beauty With a Purpose in Vietnam, a country that exudes culture, warmth, and an extraordinary sense of hospitality, and that has always welcomed us with open arms. I very much look forward to arriving in Vietnam and sharing this special moment with its wonderful people," Morley said in the statement.

Now in its 73rd edition, Miss World celebrates 75 years since its founding in 1951 by Eric Morley, with its first pageant held in London.

Asia Rose Simpson, who was crowned in February, will represent the Philippines at Miss World. She is vying for the country's second crown following Megan Young's win in 2013.

Last year's delegate Krishnah Gravidez earned the Miss World Asia title following her Top 8 finish in India.
