UP to close Academic Oval to bikers, joggers for UPCAT 2027 on Aug. 1-2

If you're looking to bike or jog around the University of the Philippines Diliman next weekend, you may have to change your plans.

The university announced that biking and jogging will be strictly prohibited within the campus on Aug. 1 and 2 to accommodate the administration of this year's UP College Admission Test.

Previously, UP only announced the temporary closure of the Academic Oval during the examination period.

To help examinees navigate the campus, UP shared digital maps detailing the traffic flow, medic portalet, testing centers, jeepney routes, and signage.

If you're taking the test, make sure you have a valid school ID or any government-issued ID on UPCAT day.

Following this, applicants must submit their grades in the Form 2B portal, including a hard copy of their marks from Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11, between Aug. 3 and 24.

The UPCAT consists of four subtests: language proficiency in English and Filipino, reading comprehension in English and Filipino, science, and mathematics.
