Barbara Palvin, Dylan Sprouse expecting first child together

Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are having a baby!

The couple revealed the pregnancy news during the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Thursday, May 14.

They showed up at the affair with Palvin flaunting her growing baby bump as she posed for photos alongside Sprouse on the red carpet.

Palvin and Sprouse met at a Harper's Bazaar party in 2017 and started dating the year after.

They got engaged in September 2022, though they kept it a secret for six months and only announced it in a photoshoot for V magazine's Fall 2023 issue, in which they posed as bride and groom.

In the cover story, Sprouse explained that they decided to keep their engagement private because they wanted to savor the moment and celebrate it with their closest friends and family first. "We didn't feel the need for full transparency with the public," he said. "We just wanted to do it on our time." 

"There's a lot of demand from the general public for full transparency, which is funny to me because no relationship is fully transparent," he added. "We didn't necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about the aspect of our engagement." 

The two tied the knot in a private ceremony in Hungary in 2023.
