The three-day BUYAnihan Resellers’ Virtual Trade Expo will equip entrepreneurs, sellers and aspiring business owners with the right tools to develop sustainable and future-ready businesses in digital platforms.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused devastating effects on the world’s economy. From giant establishments to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME), no institution is spared from the health crisis.

As a result, business leaders and entrepreneurs are challenged to develop sustainable, efficient and future-proof business models. Online shops and digital transactions have increased significantly, paving the way for aspiring business owners to set a new trend in product selling.

To provide a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs, online sellers, community-based marketers, and people looking for business opportunities, the BUYanihan Movement through the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. (AFFI) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in partnership with The Philippine STAR and PLDT Home Biz will host a three-day virtual exhibit from December 5 to 7.

The first BUYanihan Resellers’ Virtual Trade Expo is a game-changer in the local trade and commerce industry. It aims to provide a digital venue for entrepreneurs through reselling and franchising while championing the Filipino spirit of bayanihan.

One Tribe

With the theme “One tribe, one strength: Connecting small businesses to make a bigger impact,” the BUYanihan Resellers’ Virtual Trade Expo aims to equip entrepreneurs, sellers and aspiring business owners with the right tools to expand their online business through learning forums and support from various IT stakeholders.

The three-day virtual summit will feature reseller-ready products and concepts to the market, showcasing the growth of various industries during this time.

Aside from expanding the reseller network, the event also aims to support DTI in formalizing and boosting the business of resellers by providing government services in terms of business registration and compliance.

Entrepreneurs, resellers and participants looking for business opportunities can also develop their business in sustainable and future-ready ways with talks from industry experts. Topics include trends in online reselling and community marketing, best practices in franchising and increasing franchise profits, business tech tools and solutions in the new normal, and tips on how to register your business with DTI’s official website.
