AllDay heralds an all-new shopping experience

Published Nov 26, 2020 10:48 pm

We all have special grocery shopping memories. As young kids, we used to be excited to see our favorite characters on candies and sweets. As teens, we enjoyed browsing aisles for new stocks of our favorite whatnots. As adults, we’re excited to check out new ingredients for our new culinary expedition.

We may not realize it, but grocery shopping gives us the simplest yet happiest experiences, especially if the store carries everything we want and need.

Since 2014, this is what proudly Filipino-owned supermarket and mini-mart chain AllDay has in mind—to give Pinoys a tailor-fit, upgraded, refreshed and world-class grocery experience.

Upon entering the supermarket, shoppers will be warmly welcomed by bright and thoughtfully-designed interiors, spacious aisles and well-ventilated stores.

Once you grab your basket and cart, freely browse through shelves of farm-fresh produce. On the meat and produce section, pick out certified-fresh products for the family’s barbecue night.

Aside from the newly stocked goods, AllDay also has a wide collection of gourmet deli and cheeses that always goes well with wine. If you’re craving Korean noodles, Japanese nori or other international favorites, there is a whole section dedicated to imported goods from all over the globe.

AllDay Supermarket also has more food options in Gastroville, where delicacies from all over the country and the world meet. Its Paluto section lets you choose fresh ingredients and have them cooked the way you want it, Dampa-style.

The red truck

A red truck is also parked outside every store. While this may seem unaligned with the whole concept, the display holds an important symbolism.

Before AllDay or any of Vista Group’s business venture took off, a red second-hand truck joined in his hardships and drove Manny Villar to success. He took a chance on this vehicle back when he was starting his gravel and sand business in 1975.

Today, Villar is the richest Filipino, according to Forbes list for 2020.

He displays a tiny replica of this red truck in front of their offices, as well as other Villar-owned establishments to inspire employees, communities, customers and passersby to work hard, focus on their passions, never settle, and be bold when taking a leap of faith for the betterment of every Filipino family.

Opening more doors, welcoming more shoppers

In 2016, AllDay Supermarket opened three stores in Taguig, Sta. Rosa and Bataan, with an average store size of 3,800 sqm.

Since 2017, the Villar-owned supermarket chain has opened 22 stores in Molino, Kawit, Las Piñas, Libis, Pampanga, Global South, Naga, Iloilo, General Trias, Tanza, Evia, Starmall Alabang, Malolos, Dasmariñas, North Molino, Imus, Salawag and Silang.

AllDay Marts are currently located in Vista Land communities in Cavite, making shopping for essentials more convenient for residents. Committed to delivering the needs of its customers, the shop will also expand its current store size from 300 sqm. to 1,000 sqm.

During the pandemic, AllDay Supermarket continued its thrust to bring a refined grocery experience closer to more Filipinos as it opened stores in Silang and Salawag.

Before the year ends, the supermarket chain aims to further strengthen its foothold by expanding up north, with branches in Cabanatuan, Sta. Maria, and Santiago in the pipeline.

Innovating to elevate customer experience

AllDay understands and listens to the pulse of the market. This urged the chain to utilize technology to deliver an elevated customer experience, especially during the pandemic, when shoppers are torn between staying home or braving the outdoors to buy essentials.

For safe and easy shopping, the supermarket launched the AllValue e-commerce platform and personal shopper service in all its branches.

With the personal shopper service, customers simply contact the nearest AllDay Supermarket branch via Viber. They will provide an order form, which is much like your grocery list. Once sent, a trusty personal shopper will go around the store to get all the things you need.

You may also shop through www.alldaymarket.com. Here, you can also shop not only what’s missing in your pantry but also everything else you need—from appliances, home decor, and workout essentials to stationeries, gadgets, and other work-from-home and distance learning needs.

Thanks to AllDay, gone are the days when we had to shop alongside tall boxes, squeeze through crowded aisles, and head home disappointed because our needs are, yet again, out-of-stock. As we welcome a new normal, the store offers and delivers everything Filipino shoppers truly deserve.
