With the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) placing Metro Manila under Alert Level 3 and as COVID-19 cases in the country continue to rise, airlines in the country are offering rebooking promos and travel credits for passengers whose flights are affected by travel restrictions.

For those with domestic travels scheduled from Jan. 5 to 31, Cebu Pacific is letting passengers rebook their flights within 60 days at no additional cost.

Passengers can also store the amount of their booking in a virtual CEB wallet, which they can later use to book a new flight or pay for add-ons.

They can rebook or convert to travel fund for up to two hours before their scheduled time of departure. Visit here to check out fight booking options.

Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines is offering the following options for flights affected by cancellations and travel bans:

  • Rebooking to another flight with no rebooking fee within 60 days
  • Convert ticket to travel credits
  • Refund the cost of tickets without penalties, excluding Ticketing Service Charge (TSC)

On the other hand, AirAsia Philippines issued an advisory saying it will continue all of its domestic flights for fully vaccinated travelers. Those who wish to make booking changes may visit their website.

Under Alert Level 3, interzonal and intrazonal travel are still allowed depending on an individual's age and comorbidity or as determined by the local government unit.
