IKEA to hold first-ever 24-hour festival for home enthusiasts

Calling all home enthusiasts! Are you looking for fun things to do as you spend more time at home?

It’s important that we do our part in the fight against COVID-19 by limiting our outside activities and staying indoors. While some days can be dull and boring, there are other ways we can perk them up as we learn new things. Take for example the upcoming IKEA Festival, which will be held on Sept. 16.

The 24-hour global affair will feature artists, designers, DJs, chefs, and other creatives “that will turn their homes into virtual stages, opening to digital experiences.” Among them are kitchen talks, cook-offs, concerts, and makeovers, which will be set in over 100 homes in over 50 markets around the world.

The best part? There’s no need to get a ticket or register for the event—all you have to do is save the date.

The festival will take place a few months before the opening of IKEA Philippines, which is slated within the year at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
